We held a little family and friends birthday party for Maddie, and it was a blast.
She had more presents than she knew what to do with! Actually to be honest, she didn't really know what to do with any of them...
After presents, Erin (Griff's sister) decided to show us some dance moves. We put on her current favorite song and whenever there is music playing, Erin can't help but move. This happened for a good 15 minutes. She is quite the entertainer!
She even got Bill to join her for a few seconds...
And my dad...
And then it was Madison's turn to show off...she wasn't quiet walking yet, but she sure liked to try.
She wasn't a huge fan of the cake, but more interested in standing up and trying to get out of the high chair...
It was such a fun afternoon and I can't believe that I have a one year old. Just a little more than a year ago I couldn't believe that we were going to have a baby and now she is getting so big and all grown up. We love her more than anything, and couldn't feel more grateful and blessed for being her parents. Our family and friends treated her like she was a princess, and we are so lucky to have such great people in our life.
