MEXICO 2014

2014 is the year for vacations i guess...

Like I said earlier, I REALLY lucked out on the whole family thing, and that goes for in-laws too.

Griff's parents own a timeshare in Mazatlan at this super nice resort and they go every year for Spring Break.

Every year they invite us to go, but our schedules usually don't allow us to go

This year we found out 3 weeks before the trip that we would be able to go!

So we rushed off to get Madison a passport and luckily it came in time.

Mexico is kind of a magical place for us because that is where we got engaged.

Right after Griff got off his mission...his family went for spring break.

They invited me to go even though we weren't married or even engaged at the time.

But the "not being engaged thing" didn't last long because he proposed to me on a boat while we were there.

It was super great and obviously one of the happiest days of my life.

So of course Mexico will always hold a special place in my heart.

This was our 3rd time going, and our first with Madison.

It was seriously soooo much fun!

A week of hanging by the pool, eating really good food, being with family, and not worrying about a care in the world.

Sounds like a dream right?

It was.

Vacations with a baby is seriously so much more fun.

Some may say that you can't relax as much and you are always having to take care of them...

but that is your job...duh!

And you get to see them experience things and watch them have fun.

And if they are having fun...you are having way more fun!

Erin's birthday always ends up being during Spring Break...and what better to celebrate than in Mexico! Happy 18th Birthday Erin!

I never saw Bill get in the water once...sitting in the lounge chairs were the closest he got.

Mexico never disappoints...hopefully next year we will be able to go again!
